VH1 did a wonderful documentary called "Soul Train: The Hippest Trip in America". Episode 126 is part of the VH1 Roc Docs series. I think this is a wonderful piece of history. We must have the original VH1 work in our homes , libraries and collections to pass on to the generations to come.
I uploaded the video today and up until this afternoon you could watch it but Viacom has since claimed the copyright, the video is no longer available and I had no choice but to dismantle the link. Hopefully the DVD will be on sale soon via VH1 or Amazon. If you hear/see anything before I do please tell.

We all can learn about humble beginnings. It's so good to hear Mr. Cornelius speak about his own. It certainly took a lot of work and strength of character to get such a pioneering production off the ground. I tip my hat off to him.
