Royalty: Sweden Has New Princess


Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden welcomed a daughter this morning. The new bundle of joy was born at Karolinksa University Hospital in Stokolm at 4.26am local time. The as yet unnamed Princess is second in line to the throne.  She weighed a healthy 7 lbs and 3 oz and measured a cute 20 inches. The Swedish Armed Forces welcomed the birth of the future Queen with two 21 gun salutes all over the country.

As the photo above indicates, the new parents have already taken their daughter home.  Congratulations and well done to Victoria and Daniel.
