Creflo Dollar? Leave Him Alone!

Apparently Creflo Dollar's World Changers Ministries' private jet had seen dangerously better days and needed a replacement ASAP. The old one was grounded.

On Friday 13th March last, a video was posted on the Ministries' website requesting or some would say, looking for...

"...200,000 people committed to sow $300 or more to help achieve our goal to purchase the G650 airplane..."

"...we believe it's time to replace this aircraft so that our Pastors and staff can continue to safely and swiftly share the Good News of The Gospel worldwide..."

"...therefore we are asking members, partners and supporters of this ministry to assist us in acquiring a Gulfstream G650 so that Pastors Creflo and Taffi and World Changers Church International can continue to blanket the globe with the Gospel of grace..."

"...if all our existing partners were to sow $300 from all over the world, we'd be able to acquire this jet in a very, very short period of time..."

"Your love gift of any amount will be greatly appreciated."

As of yesterday Monday 16th March, the updated news is that Pastor has since "withdrawn" his campaign to raise $65 million dollars to purchase the private airplane.

We live in what is predominantly a free world...a free country...with human rights...civil rights, etc. We do things of our own volition. The Christian Faith is not imposed on any human being. It is practiced as a matter of simple free will.

PLEASE KINDLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
The Appeal was made ONLY to "200,000 people committed to sow..."
The Appeal was made ONLY to members, partners and supporters of this ministry..."

As a Christian, I can not comprehend the unnecessary cacophony of insults, sarcasm, uproar, mouthful of jeers, hisses and rolling eyes. For the love of Christ Himself, the Appeal is simple and self-explanatory.

For far too long majority of Christians have come to expect less and the absolute least for themselves and others. This sad truth is evident in the fact that they do not live out their creed, faith and calling. Majority of Christians do not believe God's promises for their lives and as such, tend to have enormous difficulty standing on God's word. Systematic spiritualism vs. Systemic ritualism? In view of this status quo, these Christians do not see themselves thinking the best, being the best, wanting the best and having the best for themselves and others. They are content with mediocre, fair, average, inexpensive, moderate and borderline poverty management. God promises to His children are the distinct opposite.

The very best private jets are not the domain of Athletes, Presidents, Politicians, Entertainers, Corporate Executives, Royalty, etc, etc, etc. Why on God's given earth should Pastor Creflo Dollar's Appeal to members, partners and supporters of his ministry be a problem? What is wrong with Pastors and their Churches purchasing private jets in order to spread The Gospel? So it is OK for members of other professions to use expensive state-of-the-art private jets for their undertakings but it is not OK for Pastors? INCREDIBLE, so just who and what do people think we Christians are?

The price of the private jet, whether $65 million, $650 million or $6.5 billion, is not the issue here. After all, "the earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof." The Body of Christ, that is the Church, is built by us believing Christians; this is a continuously beautiful, evolving, revolving and dynamic relationship. We give thanks to God, we praise God, we pray, we fast, we trust and obey His word. We make donations and offerings, we pay tithes and present our best gifts to God. In doing so, we invest in His Kingdom and our own salvation. Pastor Creflo Dollar's Appeal for the private jet is to used for God's glory. One gives because one wishes to. Pure and simple.

The Christian's prosperity is laid out with magnificent clarity in The Holy Bible. Our confession is our possession. Let us continue to read, study and meditate on God's living word. In doing so we will not be under any world-fearing illusions about our "spiritual and earthly gifts" - we know what is rightfully ours because we are Children of The Living God In Jesus's Name. AMEN.

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. PROVERBS 10v22
