Nigerian-based Wecyclers has won the Case Foundation's Pitch For Lagos Competition and was awarded $55,000.
The Case Foundation was started and is owned by AOL co-founder, Steve Case and his wife, Jean Case who have both been touring Africa on an entrepreneurial mission.
Wecylers offers convenient household recycling services using a fleet of low cost cargo bikes. The aim is to assist low income families to extract value from their recycled waste. The organisation's CEO is Ms. Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola.
