SPORTS - England's 3 Lionesses Still Make History.

A couple of days ago, Defender Laura Bassett said she would prefer if nobody knew her name. We hope that sentiment is no longer the case. As we all know, England still made history by winning the World Cup Bronze yesterday. The 3 Lionesses produced the second best performance since 1966. Fara William's extra time penalty goal ensured that England defeated highly top ranking Germany for the very first time in 21 attempts. Third place, sign, sealed and definitely delivered.

The 3 Lionesses danced, shrieked, jumped and roared for joy on the Canadian Edmonton pitch. Some members of Coach Mark Sampson's triumphant team gleefully expressed their jubilant feelings.

Let's all be happy for them and enjoy the photos. Yes, we will be discussing  their earnings in comparison to the men's so please hold that ROOOAAAR....In the meantime we say: Congratulations, you did good Lasses! We are so very proud of you, well done!

2019 here we come. Now, I am off to watch Japan vs. USA.
