Biggest Diamond In A Century
Last week this 1,111 carat diamond, type II-a stone which is smaller than a tennis ball was unearthed from a Botswana mine by Lucara Diamond Corporation. Chief Executive Officer, William Lamb would like more than $60 million for the diamond. He has already turned down an offer from London's Natural History Museum whose officials merely wished to display the stone for more than $40 million. The Disney Company has offered to do a documentary about the rare gem.
Lamb has declared that he is in no hurry and will not be running out to sell the diamond any time soon. He wants to take the time and peruse the best way to sell the incredible work of nature.
