POLITICS - Moment of Silence Observed For Abubakar Audu

Official Observing Moments of Silence

Before the officials of the Independent National Commission (INEC) announced the Kogi State Supplementary Election results yesterday, a moment of silence was observed for the late Prince Abubakar Audu who served two tenures as Governor of Kogi State. While seeking re-election on the All Progressive Congress (APC) Party and shortly after announcing his intention to run for a third term, the former Governor suffered a heart attack and subsequently passed on 22nd November.

INEC declared Yahaya Bello as the new Governor of Kogi State.
