So we have it on self-evidenced authority that England's ladies are now at the Quarter Finals phase. They have all bent it better than the best of their male counter parts. The lads can learn lots of lessons from the lassies by taking plenty back to the drawing board forthwith. Doing the obvious will only strengthen them all the more for their next FIFA Men's World Cup meet two years from now.

During a mid-week sermon in the mid-nineties, my Pastor said: "if you fail to prepare, be prepared to fail." The Three Lionesses could teach their Lions many valuable lessons: a good old roaring pep talk must be high on the agenda among other pressing topics. One truly wonders whether the chauvinists are up for such a meeting in the first instance.

On Saturday, no matter the outcome for the Lionesses versus Canada - they will always shine from glory to glory unto a new day. Where is all the fuss about the FIFA Women's World Cup? Let's all make some noise...ROAR! Trust me, Russia is going to be extremely rowdy.
