SPORTS - Why Stress Stephen Keshi

Coach Stephen Keshi

The Nigerian Football Federation appears to be making a mountain over a molehill, If Stephen Keshi has applied to coach a position in the nation of Ivory Coast, then so be it. Soccer players, soccer coaches, basketball players, coaches, etc. move around year in year out. Why is the NFF giving Mr. Stephen Keshi such a difficult time and what precisely is the disciplinary committee trying to prove here?

Can someone please remind The NFF that coaching and or playing Soccer is not tantamount to slavery? Amateurs must not be disregarded so disdainfully how much more professionals. Come to think of it, nobody should be treated so shamefully. What ever happened to treating our Coaches and Athletes with respect, honor and dignity? Should a contract be broken then the Federation can exercise its right to legal recourse, if necessary. However and in the meantime, the NFF ought to be concerned with finding out what caused Nigeria's early exit from Canada some days ago. Perhaps the knowledge of the truth will ultimately prevent a similar performance in Russia 2018. If you fail to prepare, be prepared to fail. Next.

  4. Now one year later, the Stephen Keshi is dead! The NFF stressed him and literally drove him to an early grave - almost six months after he lost his wife to cancer. His children and family should now sue the bloody NFF and the Nigerian government.
