EVENT - George W. Bushes Surprises Dalai Lama



Yesterday July 1st, His Holiness The Dalai Lama of Tibet visited his friend at The George Bush Presidential Center at South Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. Apparently, these days the 43rd President of the United States paints portraits. His Holiness will be 80 on Monday 6th July, so this could very well be one of many presents to come. Either way, he was rather impressed but admitted that the eyes could do with some more work!

His Holiness, Mr. & Mrs. Bush met with some young Burmese students who were participating in a Liberty and Leadership Forum at the Presidential Center. The 43rd President also presented a cake to His Holiness in honor of his birthday.
