FILM - Straight Outta Compton Actors To Reunite On Kong: Skull Island

After the run-a-way success of Straight Outta Compton, leading co-stars, Corey Hawkins - Dr. Dre   (also booked for a season of The Walking Dead) and Jason Mitchell - Eazy E, have both signed on for Skull Island which is expected to be another major box office triumph. As fresh details continue to unfold, other actors include Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, Toby Keddell, Samuel L. Jackson, and John C. Reilly.

Executive producers are Alex Garcia and Eric McLeod. The director is Jordan Vogt-Roberts while the producers are John Jashni, Mary Parent and Thomas Tull.  Screenplay credits belong to Mark Borenstein, Derek Connelly, John Gatins and Dan Gilroy. Cinematography is by Larry Fong and Editing by Christian Wagner. Production Design is by Stefan Dechant while Steve Christensen is in charge of Art Direction.

The King Kong prequel, Skull Island  will be released in 2017 . The action adventure movie's focus will be on the early origins of King Kong.
