It is so hard to believe but it is finally here. All things must come to an end no matter how good or superior. After 17 seasons, the outstanding comedian/satirist in the person of Jon Stewart airs his last The Daily Show tonight. His penchant to anchor news as entertainment without holding any bars or throwing punches has been comedic television at one of its finest.
Here is the very first 1998 commercial for the Daily Show With Jon Stewart.

The Senior Vice President of Exhibits and Programs, Cathy Trost said "we are thrilled to accept the donation of these artifacts to the Newseum Collection...they are part of America's cultural and media history, telling an important story about how political satire and and news as humor made The Daily Show a trusted source for a generation."
