POLITICS - The Democrats Will Hold Six Debates

The Democratic National Committee has stated that there will be six debates this fall. The first will be on Tuesday 13th October. To date participants will be former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, former Governor of Maryland Martin O'Malley, former Governor of Rhode Island Lincoln Chafee, former Governor of Virginia Jim Webb and current Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

There is no word from Vice President Joe Biden yet who has not publicly declared his intention to run. Biden's late son, Beau, (former Attorney General of Delaware) often encouraged his father to run for the U.S. Presidency. His younger son Hunter is of the same opinion. This move might prove delicately cumbersome as it is thought that Joe Biden respects his party's wish to make history by placing a lady in the White House. He is on very good terms with Hilary Clinton.

The schedules are:

13th October 2015, CNN - Nevada.
14th November 2015, CBS/KCCI/Des Moines Register - Des Moines, Iowa.
19th December 2015, ABC/WMUR - Manchester, New Hampshire
17th January 2016, NBC/Congressional Black Caucus Institute - Charleston, S.C.
February or March , Univision/Washington Post - Miami, FL
February or March, PBS - Wisconsin

The final February or March debate will be moderated by Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff of PBS.
