The 100m reigning queen, Blessing Okagbare, finished with a time of 11.02 seconds and has apologized to Nigerians for her performance at Beijing 2015 IAAF World Championships.
She has vowed to return much stronger. "You work hard, train hard, put your best foot forward and go out there to represent your country. Sometimes it all comes together for you and on other days like today it does not....I feel sad that I let you down...I will regroup and get ready for the 200m which starts on Wednesday. I thank you all for standing by me."

Blessing had better not put herself under pressure. I wonder how much training she's been getting out of Nigeria. God knows that country has so much talent but nobody seems to be taking it seriously. They need to sit up and do more for their athletes instead of squandering their money on corruption :( :( :( !!!!!
