Beautifully gifted actress, Michelle Pfeiffer, has signed up for The Wizard Of Lies. She will play Ruth Madoff, wife of Robert De Niro's Bernie Madoff. One will recall that Madoff the financier, investment adviser, former chairman of NASDAQ and stockbroker was a swindler who operated a devastating ponzi scheme.
The film will give insight into how the largest financial fraud in U.S. history was visited upon the unsuspecting public and the dreadful manner in which Madoff's actions destroyed innocent lives including members of his own family. Alessandro Nivola will play Bernie's son, Mark Madoff.
Barry Levinson will direct this project which is based on the best selling book Wizard Of Lies by American Financial Journalist, Diana B.Henriques.
