Dr. Bennet Omalu is an excellent Nigerian Doctor (Forensic Neuropathologist) who discovered the medical term Chronic Traumatic Encelphalopathy (CTE) in a professional football player. Dr. Omalu's findings exposed brain altering patterns tantamount to degenerative disease. Consequently, a GQ article was written by Jeanne Marie Laskas on the subject which kicked down the iron wrought door whistle blowing on all the corporate, cultural, political structures protecting the sport. Worst of all, one is unable to place a tag on the price paid by the NFL athletes.
The purpose of this David versus Goliath film is to highlight CTE which has presented in some athletes exposed to multiple concussions over the course of their NFL careers.
The Executive Producers of Concussion are David Crockett and Michael Schaefer.

The dramatic thriller is led by Will Smith who plays Dr. Bennet Omalu. Jones, Albert Brook, Hill Harper, Bitsie Tulloch and NFL Player, Da'shawn Thomas.
The writer and director of Concussion is Peter Landesman. Producers are Elizabeth Cantillon, Giannina Facio, Ridley Scott, Larry Shuman and David Wolthoff. Co-producer is Amal Baggar.

Concussion, also informally known as Brain Game, was filmed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. It will be released in the USA on Christmas Day. With the exception of Cambodia and Portugal, the rest of the world will have an opportunity to see Concussion January 2016.
