President Raul Castro and President Barack Obama
In a recent, exclusive interview held by Yahoo's Chief Washington Correspondent, Oliver Knox, President Obama expressed his desire to visit Cuba as soon as possible but only under the condition that he gets to meet the pro - democracy dissidents there. "If I go on a visit, then part of the deal is that I get to talk to everybody". From day one Cuba's President Raul Castro has been made aware of the POTUS intentions to help broaden minds and reach out to the Cubans of "free expression".
On December 17th, 2014, News broke that Obama and Castro had secret negotiations which took a HUGE step in improving U.S - Cuba relations. Consequently, removing Cuba from lists of state terrorism and making strides in travelling opportunities for both sides were the first couple of chess moves.
It remains for the world to see how this pans out.
