March Madness is almost over.
Today is the NCAA Final Four in my adopted hometown of Houston, Texas. The colleges are Villanova University, University of Oregon, Syracuse University and North Carolina. OMG, wish I was there right now as I was five years ago for Connecticut, Kentucky, Butler and Virginia Commonwealth. The 2011 championship went to University of Connecticut.
To all those privileged to be at the NRG today, enjoy the games and have a good time.
Houston residents, please stop complaining about the traffic, gridlock, hustle and bustle - it's all worth it. Remember, the focus is on you and your amazing hospitality, generosity, good infrastructure, eateries and weather. So what's not to like - smile, grin and bear, after all, you are Olympic ready ... it's just a matter of time.
1...2...3..., let's hear it for H-Town!

The fact that Houston hosted the Final Four only 5 years ago says something good about the town. H-Town is now the 4th largest city in the USA after New York, LA and Chicago. The thing is that Houston has the up to date infrastructure for all sporting tourneys. Yes, even the Olympics. The only negative thing might be the boiling heat!
