Seven month old Umara Bukar is one of 100,000 children being treated for malnutrition. UNICEF is dealing with severe illness, trauma and malnutrition across north east Nigeria. Children face the risk of death as a direct consequence of the violent conflict. Over the next 12 months, the estimated projection is that 400,000 will suffer.

It is imperative that indigenous Nigerians take action by networking and supporting the cause of the suffering displaced.
