OPINION - President Buhari, Wherefore Art Thou Sir?

It is bad enough that Nigeria's public healthcare system has been permitted to rot in the doldrums. It is sad enough that her democracy has not yet ushered in good affordable healthcare for the voting masses. 

It is bad enough that such dangerously inferior healthcare constantly exports the African Giant's politicians and civil servants to safer shores for check ups, emergencies and operations. It is sad enough that Nigeria's Head of State and Commander of The Armed Forces can not receive the best medical care in his own land. 

It is bad enough that Nigerians do not know the state of their President. It is sad enough that Nigerians are compelled to march out their state of wonder. 

Citizens require the constant presence of their leaders. Mr. President, you are wished excellent health. However, wherefore art thou Sir? Please hurry back o! Hurry, hurry, quick quick o!

    Why do African presidents go abroad for medical treatment? What's wrong with their own countries.
