No, this is not a typographical error and yes, this has to be true because it has been reported by none other than the reputable Christian Post. You can understand why, can you not?
Here sits a pair of Nike Foamposite Galaxy Sneakers for $70,000. Apparently the limited edition range was officially released today but this particular pair which was put up for auction on eBay for $750 three days ago has skyrocketed to $70,000. There is no word on the final dollar amount.
So this is what I truly think. The best case scenario? A Nike employee is behind this. Worse case? An athlete endorsed by Nike. Either way, this company has people suckered in the palm of its hand. Now everybody will rush out to buy a pair. Good marketing stunt Nike.
