Eyesight To The Blind

The appliance of science is mind boggling. Apparently a new retinal implant has been developed which will restore eyesight to the blind, in particular, to individuals who have suffered from a condition called Retinis Pigmentosa. The good news is that the first clinical trials have been resoundingly successful and a second set will be resuming soon.

The developed implant is basically an electronic chip which could possibly be used to help with other types of blindness. Please read much further about Mr. Alex Knapp's incredible breakthrough piece here at FORBES MAGAZINE
