Permit me to gossip a little....so the New York Post is reporting that HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover's son landed himself in hospital with a dreadfully injured and bloodied face after a booze filled brawl on Saturday. Apparently 24 year old Pierre Casiraghi, Stavros Niarchos III and two others belligerently invited themselves over to one 47 year old Adam Hock's table as he was sitting with his own and minding his own. Pierre & Co thought it proper to extend insults as they consumed a $500 bottle of vodka. Hock sent Pierre flying and dispatched blows to the others ....blah, blah, blah.
Hocks Attorney: "My client was having a nice time with a married couple and a lady friend and a group of very beautiful women...these individuals were jealous ... and resorted to elementary school tactics. My client is not Bruce Lee....these four guys are trust fund babies who think the world is owed to them....spoiled brats."
Pierre's Attorney: "It was a horrifying incident....entirely unprovoked." Entirely unprovoked. Honestly?

On what is normally a peaceful Sunday for most, Hock made a guest appearance at the Manhattan Criminal Court on four counts of third-degree assault. His plea, "I'm the victim, I was defending myself and others." He was released but must return next month. An indignant Hock could not understand why those who were not hospitalized had not been arrested.
