Catherine, Please Give Those Shoes A Break

William's maternal cousin got married today. I imagine his mother would have been so proud of her senior sister's daughter, Emily McCorquodale. We can only wonder what she would have thought of her new daughter in-law.

I like Catherine but I fear she might be a little obstinate for her own good. Permit me to expound - we have seen the nude LK Bennett pumps on her too many times, more recently, last Sunday and Tuesday she paired with them with stunning day dresses for her grand mother in-law's Diamond Jubilee. It is alright to have favorite items in one's wardrobe but sometimes we must steer close to gentle wave of rational caution.  The pumps should not have made an appearance at today's wedding.

Dear Catherine, I like you, I am proud of you and your hard working parents who propelled you to such good fortune. I wish you very well indeed. As the next Princess of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall,  Duchess of Rothesay & Countess of Chester, you understand more than most that you are closely scrutinized. one sees no reason to set those envious, caustic tongues wagging.....again....
