Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
As Elizabeth walked into Westminster Abbey via the west door to her Coronation, choristers sang Psalm 122: "I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord." It is worth mentioning that this was also sung as Miss Catherine Elizabeth Middleton walked down the aisle to marry her Prince. It is indeed a blessing to walk with God Almighty.
60 years ago Elizabeth Alexandra Mary participated in an Order of Service that involved The Preparation, The Entrance into the Church, The Recognition, The Oath, The Presentation of The Holy Bible, The Beginning of the Communion Service, The Anointing, The Presenting of the Spurs and the Sword, and the Oblation of the said Sword, The Investing of the Armills, the Stole Royal and the Robe Royal, The Delivery of the Orb, The Investiture, The Putting on of The Crown, The Benediction, The Enthroning, The Homage, The Communion and The Recess. Such is the enormous Biblical significance of a Coronation.
Over the past four days we witnessed an occasion so momentous, the chances of it happening again is, dare I say it, is completely unlikely. Elizabeth's Great-Great Grandmother, Victoria, was merely 18 when ascended the throne, Elizabeth a young 25. Queen Victoria accomplished 63 years, 7 months and 2 days. This particular Head of State will be setting a record for her 65th, 70th and beyond.
God save our gracious Queen. Absolutely, it is right and fitting that we give thanks to God Almighty for his anointing, favor and abundant blessings. All honor, glory, victory and praise belong to Him.
