ECONOMY - Nigeria Created Over 400,000 Jobs In 2015 3rd Quarter

Data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) shows 475,180 jobs were created in the 2015 3rd Quarter. This represents an increase of 236.1 percent compared with the previous quarter and 36 percent compared with 2014 3rd Quarter.
The NBS says the increase is due to informal sector jobs which accounted for 90.2 percent in rural agriculture. The labor force population increased from 74 million to 75.9 million.
