Ms Lupita Nyong'o has been named Global Elephant Ambassador. The Actress has spent some days at the Amboseli Trust For Elephants and the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Kenya. This is her first home coming tour since winning the academy award.
Ms. Nyong'o met with business leaders, members of the community and conservationists at a press conference held today at the Villa Rosa Kempinski. The Actress expressed that she "is proud of her Kenyan heritage and part of that heritage is the incredible wildlife haven that we have.... let us begin to learn more, know more and do more to save the elephant."
