Before the race at the Beijing IAAF Track & Field World Championship, Mo Farah reminded us that he was definitely ready and set for tonight: he was going to "go hard or go home!"

Mo Farah did not fail but went on to win a unique historic 5,000m gold world championship in Bejing. He is now the first man in history to win the distance triple double back-to-back-to-back. Plainly put, Mo has won three successive 5,000m world championships in a row coupled with another three 10,000m world championships in a row.

The triple doubles are 2012 in London, 2013 in Moscow and 2015 in Beijing.

Congratulations and absolutely well done to Mo Farah.
