The Honorable Mr. Afolabi Akanni
The Honorable Mr. Afolabi Akanni is a member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly. Apparently Mr. Akanni was arrested by the DSS over sundry allegations which are yet been clarified. He has not been charged with anything in particular.
Mr. Afolabi who represents Efon-Alaaye Constituency in the state House of Assembly, spoke briefly with journalists at the national headquarters of the DSS in Abuja on Thursday, 17th March last.
Mr. Afolabi has spent 18 days in detention without charge and without trial. Apparently he has had no access to a Lawyer, a Doctor or any of his Family members. #FreeAfolabiAkanniNow
