SPORTS - John Obi Mikel Is Nigeria's New Super Eagles Captain

The Chelsea Midfielder, John Michael Nchekwube Obinna otherwise known as John Obi Mikel has today been named Captain of The Nigerian National Football Team. He replaces Ahmed Musa.

Ahmed Musa's statement read: "John Obi Mikel is the oldest serving player on the Nigerian Team and it is the right thing for him to have the armband."

From the Kaduna Press Conference late yesterday, Ahmed Musa said: "I want to announce now that from today, John Obi Mikel is our new captain."

Mikel's Super Eagles captaincy is immediate.

  2. Very good. That Baby Mama of his had better behave now that he is going to Captain Naija's flagship team. He too should not be posting too much info about his personal life. This will not be a good look for him or Naija. He's gotta be professional.
