It appears 71 year old President Yoweri Museveni (who has been in office for the last 30 years and is looking to add another 5) is 100% behind his nation's social media ban, blockage and censorship. As Ugandans exercise their democratic right to elect a new President, they have been confronted with the chaotic inconvenience of absolutely zero Facebook, zero Twitter, zero WhatsApp and completely zilch Money Mobile Services.
Ugandans are determined to experience a new dawn and with the help of appliance of science, a Virtual Private Network (VPN) has been set up to assist with every Ugandan's right to free speech and civil liberties. One of the opposition candidates 67 year old Amama Mbabazi helped his country circumvent the social media ban, blockage and censorship by tweeting the following:
